SUSI 2010 is the 11th International Conference in
the series on ‘Structures Under Shock and Impact’.
The chief objective of the conference is to attract
participants with as wide a spectrum of expertise as
possible and working across a broad range of
structural problems throughout industry and academia
which are subjected to impact and blast loadings.
The shock and impact area of structures is a challenging area because of its time-dependent aspects and the difficulties in specifying the external dynamic loading characteristics. This conference will provide a platform to recognise and utilise the contributions from the theoretical, numerical and experimental studies, as well as investigations into material properties under dynamic loading conditions. The conference will be useful to engineers from civil, military, nuclear, offshore, aeronautical, transportation and other backgrounds |
